About

My name is Theresa Jaeckel. I have a Bachelors degree in Education and taught middle and high school mathematics for 4 years. I decided in my third year of teaching it wasn’t what I wanted to do and decided to pursue other career goals. I decided to try massage therapy, I was always told I had strong hands and I was looking for a non-medicated and holistic form to help treat my migraines. I attended Heritage College in Wichita, Kansas and received my certificate in Massage Therapy in September of 2012. The classes I took included Deep Tissue Therapy, Sports Massage, Bones and Muscles, Clinical Assessment, and Neuromuscular Therapy. I also spent 6 weeks in a clinic setting working on the general public and 6 weeks in an internship before getting a job at a spa. I have been doing massage therapy as a travel therapist since June 2012 and worked in a spa from October 2012-July 2014 and decided to completely branch out on my own. I have learned many different techniques and ways to help clients relax. I am currently furthering my education to obtain an Associates Degree in Occupational Studies for Massage Therapy with classes that include Medical Massage, Chinese Medicine, Psychology and Business Management. I specialize in Cranial/Sacral work, Deep Tissue Massage and Hot Stone Massage but I do plenty more different types of massage. I believe the benefits of Massage Therapy are far better when used on a regular basis and typically recommend my clients come visit every couple of weeks. Check under services for the types of massages I provide and their benefits!

Kneaded Relief by Theresa is a therapeutic massage company focusing on the medical benefits of massage, aromatherapy using Young Living Essential Oils and homemade sugar scrubs, along with incorporating some Chinese Medicine techniques. Massage is not all about relaxation, it does release endorphins and brain chemicals that leave you feeling relaxed and sleepy, however; regular massages can help aid the body in emotional clarity, lowering blood pressure, improving respiratory problems, increasing blood circulation, along with improving and strengthening flexibility, posture and immune systems. Massage can benefit everyone from infancy up to death.
